Vast Data Storage

VCap utilizes an onboard SD card with practically limitless data storage space (about 40 years of data per gigabyte.) As data is received through the radar unit, VCap creates dated speed samples and stores them on the SD card. Every 24 hours a new file is created on the SD card and samples continue to be stored. Data is maintained even during a power outage, with new samples collected when power returns.

Traffic Alerts

Set up user-defined alerts and notifications when vehicles exceed speed thresholds or for VCap status changes. Setup notifications for when new data is collected. When used with a cellular modem, alerts can be relayed from the sign via email or SMS.

VCalm® uses proprietary PWMS LED technology that consumes 50% less power than common LED technology. Our programming delivers exceptional autonomy for solar/battery installations in a much smaller package size.

Multi-Function Upgradeable

Easy and Accurate Reporting

Traffic Data Acquisition System (TDAS) collects the fastest and slowest speed for each vehicle. The software uses this data to calculate the percentage of slowing vehicles and prove the device’s effectiveness.
